Because FocusFlow is built offline-first, the majority of your data never leaves your device. However, to provide and secure the Service, we collect the following categories of information: 1. Account Information: When you create an account, we collect your email address, a cryptographically hashed password (we never see your plain text password), and your display name. 2. User Content (Encrypted): This includes your tasks, notes, schedules, focus session history, and any attachments ("User Content"). If you choose to enable cross-device sync, this data is encrypted end-to-end (E2EE) using AES-256 before being transmitted to our servers. We do not hold the decryption keys; therefore, we cannot read, access, or process the contents of your tasks. 3. Usage and Telemetry Data (Anonymized): We collect anonymized telemetry to improve app stability and features. This includes app version, device type (e.g., iPhone 14 Pro), OS version, screen resolution, crash reports, and aggregated feature usage frequency (e.g., "Pomodoro timer used 5 times this week"). This data is stripped of all personal identifiers and cannot be traced back to you. 4. Billing Information: If you purchase a Pro subscription, your transaction is processed securely by our payment provider, Stripe. We only store a truncated version of your card number (last 4 digits), expiration date, and billing address for invoice purposes. 5. Device Permissions: With your explicit consent, we may access specific device features: Camera/Photos: To scan documents or attach images to tasks. Microphone: For voice-to-text braindumping. Notifications: To send you task reminders and focus timer alerts. Calendars: If you explicitly link your Apple/Google Calendar for two-way sync.
